KYLE CALLANAN has 15 years’ experience bringing costumes to life for blockbuster films, TV, commercials, and pop stars.
Kyle started his career in fashion co-founding fashion label Don’t Shoot the Messengers (with Jen Gilpin) that sold in 21 stores worldwide, for six successful seasons.
He transitioned to costume styling live performances and music videos for some of the world’s biggest pop stars including Beyoncé, Shakira, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, and Taylor Swift.
In more recent years, Kyle has applied his wealth of expertise to Hollywood, developing and producing costumes for blockbuster films such as The Monuments Men, Edge of Tomorrow, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, Ghost in the Shell, Terminator: Dark Fate, Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and Grafted (and many more).
Having recently returned to New Zealand after 13 years in Berlin, Kyle is focused on costume design work for projects with a strong artistic vision. He has dual UK/NZ citizenship and is open to work on projects worldwide.
